Rainbow Lake Water Protection District
The dam that controls the water level in our waterways
is located on the northern outlet of Lake Kushaqua.
It is shown on the Waterway map.
It is a special tax district created by the Franklin County, New York Legislature
to collect taxes from waterfront property owners on the Rainbow Lake Waterways in the
Town of Brighton and the Town of Franklin to administer and maintain dam operations.
It is not a branch of the Rainbow Lake Association.
